Chiropractors are hands-on practitioners. They treat patients with neuromuscular and skeletal system disorders, and chiropractors will continue to be in demand as Americans commit to staying active while aging.
If you want to become a chiropractor in the future, you’ll need an undergraduate degree and four years of chiropractic school before you can practice. However, you can start off on the right path right here at Edinboro with our Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences — Pre-Chiropractic concentration.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts jobs will increase 10% for life science
occupations by 2026.
Edinboro has articulation agreements with several Chiropractic schools, which means that you’ll not only have a head start on the foundations you need, but also a competitive edge when you apply.
Our rigorous curriculum includes courses that are required by well-known chiropractic
programs. When you balance these classes with general education and core courses that
improve your critical thinking skills and ethical decision-making, you’ll become a
qualified candidate for any chiropractic program.
Our small classes are taught by faculty members with a wide array of research interests, which allows you to fully participate in your education and appreciate the importance of evidence-based medicine. Faculty mentors will ensure you’re equipped to do well in your undergraduate program and meet the requirements for the chiropractic program that's the best fit for you.
Want to get an early start on chiropractic school? Edinboro has established affiliations with the New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) and Logan University, enabling you to start chiropractic school after your junior year at Edinboro.
