During your final semester of the Bachelor of Social Work program, you will have the opportunity for extensive hands-on learning through an internship with a social service organization. You will spend four full days per week at your internship site and work under the supervision of a professional social worker. This experience not only enhances your education, but also provides networking opportunities that often lead to full-time employment after graduation. Sites include:
It’s never too soon to start thinking about what comes after your undergraduate degree. Many BSW graduates go on to complete Edinboro University’s Master of Social Work (MSW) and obtain licensure, which opens additional clinical and professional possibilities.
Once you have your BSW degree, you can complete your MSW in just 15 months, either on campus or online, through our Advanced Standing Master of Social Work.

Accreditation of a baccalaureate or master's social work program by the Council on Social Work Education' Commission on Accreditation indicates that it meets or exceeds criteria for the assessment of program quality evaluated through a peer review process.
