Communication, Journalism and Media
A state-of-the-art communication lab as well as student-run TV and radio stations and other campus media outlets give students in Edinboro University's Department of Communication, Journalism and Media valuable hands-on experience.
This digital media lab, located in 210 Compton Hall, provides state-of-the-art technological support for instruction in digital media production, web design and related areas.
The Campus Media Center in Compton Hall serves as the hub for EU's three student-run media sources — The Spectator student newspaper, WFSE-FM radio and ETV television.
Students can access all department offices and resources in Compton Hall. First used by the Borough of Edinboro as a public school, Compton Hall went through a major renovation in 2011 that saw a large gymnasium at the center of the building remade into a state-of-the-art lecture hall and TV studio, brought the campus newspaper, television, and radio stations to the building, and created new office space.
