If you're currently enrolled in or have been accepted into a Biology and Health Sciences program at PennWest Edinboro, you can gain early admission to Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) through the 3+4 Biology and Health Sciences program at PennWest Edinboro.

LECOM's Provisional Early Acceptance Programs

If you are pursuing admittance into the LECOM Early Acceptance Programs, you must meet certain admission requirements.

Interested students should apply to LECOM during their senior year of high school or before the start of their second year at Edinboro. LECOM reviews the applications and invites qualified applicants to interview for a provisional letter of acceptance. Information concerning the LECOM Early Acceptance Program.

General admission requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (international students may apply to Pharmacy);
• Must not hold a bachelor’s degree or higher;
• Must have at least two years remaining as a full time student at the undergraduate institution;
• SAT Score (Math and Verbal Reasoning) greater than or equal to 1170 on a single exam taken before 3/1/16, a SAT score of 1240 or higher on a single exam taken after 3/1/16 or an ACT Composite score greater than or equal to 26 on a single exam; and
• A high school GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• Students already attending Edinboro must have a cumulative overall GPA of 3.4 or higher and a science GPA of 3.2 or higher.
