Edinboro University’s Doctor of Nursing Practice degree prepares advanced practice nurses for rising standards in the field. The online, part-time program offers specialty electives in advanced clinical practice and clinical nursing education.
The Master of Science in Nursing program is co-sponsored by Clarion and Edinboro Universities with a concentration area in family nurse practitioner (FNP). U.S. News & World Report’s 2015 Best Colleges ranks Clarion and Edinboro’s online nursing program among the Best Online Graduate Programs.
The Innovative Nursing program is a pre-licensure program designed for students with a baccalaureate degree in another field who wish to study for a B.S. in Nursing (BSN) degree. This is an intense 15-month program which requires daily attendance in either a classroom or clinical experience. The successful graduate is eligible to write the NCLEX examination for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
This is a four year program, for first time students that combine professional nursing courses and clinical learning experiences as well as general education requirements. At the completion of this program students receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and are eligible to write the NCLEX examination for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Graduates of the program are prepared to function as professional nurses in a variety of health care settings.
