The Xavier D. Williams Distinguished Speaker Series was established in 2004 by an honored alumnus of the EU Business and Economics Department to introduce students to the wisdom of professionals in the business world and has included over 20 speakers.
The Xavier D. Williams Distinguished Speaker Series was endowed by Edinboro alumnus Xavier D. Williams, ’89, to provide Edinboro students with opportunities to meet outstanding business leaders, while exploring issues affecting business today. This generous endowment from Mr. Williams provides our Business and Economics students with rewarding educational experiences.
Xavier D. Williams is currently the Senior Vice President of GEM Markets of AT&T Operations, Inc. Williams is responsible for state and local government, education and medical sales across the country. He was appointed to his current position in March 2008. business planning, corporate staff, finance, human resources, product management and
sales. He received numerous honors and accolades for his contributions both inside
and outside of the company.

Typically, speakers present at least once a year. More information will be made available
when the next speaker is scheduled.
The series, which began in 2004, has brought 22 business professionals to our campus to network with our students. Edinboro University has been honored to hear the wisdom and experience of the following individuals, among many others, as they held forums and discussions on topic ranging from branding to leadership to economic conditions.
