Jobs & Internships

Health and Physical Education

To ensure alumni success, PennWest Edinboro connects Health and Physical Education majors with many fantastic internship opportunities that complement classroom learning and helps students make informed career decisions.

Providing excellent internship opportunities is a priority for the University, and the stories of student success in the workplace have been overwhelming. Edinboro HPE students have interned at American Heart Association, Allegheny Health Network,  Erie SeaWolves, Erie Bank Sports Park, Highmark Fitness Center and many more locations.

Internships are an integral component of the HPE curriculum. Every major has one or more designated internship directors to assist students with identifying opportunities and coordinating credits.

Students who are interested in internship experiences are encouraged to contact the Health and Physical Education Department internship coordinator, or visit the Center for Career Development’s internship webpages for more information.
