          Study Abroad

Edinboro University offers study abroad opportunities for short-term experiences (ranging from two to five weeks). Individual guidance is provided to students interested in a semester or year experience. Students should explore enhancing their academic credentials by participating in a study abroad program. The Global Education Office is here to help make your dreams a reality.

At Edinboro University, we strive to build cross-cultural connections and to offer our students a unique opportunity to become active citizens of the world.

Studying abroad is not only a wonderful enhancement to your education, but also a rewarding and life-enriching experience. Scholarships are available to help make your overseas study possible.

The Global Education Office is here to help students understand Edinboro University’s policies on study abroad and will assist in receiving formal approval for study abroad programs. Our office is full of resources to help in this process. A prospective study abroad student's first step should be to visit the Global Education Office during walk-in hours or visit the Global Education’s webpage within the myEdinboro portal.

Walk-in hours for study abroad are posted outside of the Global Education Office as well as on the Global Education’s webpage within the myEdinboro portal.  Walk-in hours allow prospective study abroad students to meet with a Global Education staff member to discuss and prepare for a study abroad experience.
