          Undergraduate Student Scheduling

          Undergraduate students should follow the important instructions below in order to successfully create their course schedule and register for classes.

          Meet with your academic advisor

          • You will go over your plans for the upcoming semester
          • You will then receive your Alternate PIN*

          Scheduling dates are listed in S.C.O.T.S. **

          • How to check your registration time:
            • login to my.edinboro
            • go to S.C.O.T.S.
            • click on "Registration"
            • click on "Check Your Registration Status"
            • your scheduled date and time will be listed

          Login to my.edinboro anytime after your scheduled date and time to schedule

          • You will be able to schedule under:
          • You will then enter your pin and schedule your courses

          Finalize your schedule

          • To secure your registration for your scheduled classes, you must E-REG and attend your classes on the first day.
            • Failure to do so could result in loss of your class schedule. Check your registration status on S.C.O.T.S. several days before scheduling. If there are any holds from parking tickets, library fines, etc. on your record preventing registration, you must clear them.

          *The Alternate PIN, which is equivalent to your advisor's signature, is needed to schedule on S.C.O.T.S. Obtaining the Alternate PIN verifies that you have received sufficient advice to schedule for the next academic term. For these reasons, only your advisor or department chairperson can provide the Alternate PIN. Please note that the Alternate PIN is different from the PIN needed to login to MyEdinboro and it is set by the University, not the student. Please be sure to record your Alternate PIN so you can make adjustments to your schedule through the Add/Drop/Withdrawal period of that semester.

          **Scheduling dates are listed on the S.C.O.T.S. page of your personal record. To schedule students fairly, and to ensure you are scheduled promptly, there can be no exceptions to this schedule.
