Submitting to Chimera is a wonderful opportunity for those who would like to be published. Edinboro University students can begin submitting literary work for the publication this month.
The student-led team has contributors from both the Art and English Departments to showcase the finest art, literature, film and animation Edinboro University has to offer. Chimera invites and encourages participation from all currently enrolled undergraduate students of all backgrounds, with no limits on subject, style or form.
Accepted works will be published in the journal, which will be printed in the spring 2022 semester. In addition to being published, there is a possibility the annual soirée will be held for the artists to come together and enjoy accepted artworks, complimentary refreshments and possibly the opportunity to read their work to an audience.
Please review the Call for Literary Submissions, which lays out, in detail, the formal requirements for submitting original works of literature to Chimera. This year's submissions period officially opened on Monday, Oct. 25, and will officially close on Friday, Nov. 26, at 11:59 p.m.
Students outside of the English and Philosophy departments who are interested in submitting to Chimera or wish to join the editorial staff, please contact Hazel Modlin, managing editor, at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
