On your mark. Get set. Read.
Edinboro University’s Summer Reading Clinic returns for 2022 with opportunities for young readers to work with Edinboro students to gain confidence as readers and writers.
Students in grades K-6 are invited to Edinboro University’s Butterfield Hall beginning July 7 to work one-on-one with Edinboro personnel to extend their reading and writing instruction beyond the classroom.
Sessions will run Mondays through Thursdays until Aug. 3 at no cost to the participants.
Edinboro students will help maintain and support academic programming over the summer and actively engage learners in literacy strategies.
Each day, students will arrive between 10:15 and 10:25 a.m. with academic sessions beginning at 10:30. Lunch will begin at 11:30, and students are required to bring their own. Snacks will be provided throughout the sessions.
The afternoon sessions will include outdoor activities devoted to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), followed by another academic period. Students will be dismissed at 3:15 p.m.
