Savannah Anderton


          Savannah Anderton has represented her fellow Edinboro University students on the Council of Trustees since 2016.

          She is a biology education major in her junior year and is working toward becoming a high school biology teacher in northwestern Pennsylvania following graduation. She would like to eventually pursue a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in educational leadership, possibly becoming a professor.

          A former Honors Scholar, Ms. Anderton continues to work in the Edinboro University Honors Program Office. She has been a member of the Highland Ambassadors for four semesters. An Edinboro University scholarship enabled Ms. Anderton to travel to Spain to complete a 190-mile hike in the historic Camino de Santiago.

          In addition to her work at EU, Ms. Anderton is an upright bass and electric bass player.
