Edinboro's Future Fighting Scots Days are offered to admitted students and their families to help them understand Edinboro’s enrollment process, departments, programs and important offices around campus. Watch your email and mail for upcoming details about Future Fighting Scots Days!

Submit Your Deposit

Step 1 –Secure Your Spot, Submit Your Deposit!

In order to accept your offer of admission to PennWest Edinboro, please confirm your intent to enroll by submitting your $100 advance tuition deposit as soon as possible, but no later than May 1, 2022. Your deposit will be applied to your account and deducted from your bill, but is non-refundable if you do not enroll at the University for any reason.

You can submit your deposit online. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact the Office of Admissions at admissions@pennwest.edu or 814-732-2761.

So, you’ve paid your deposit, now what? After your deposit has been paid, you can look forward to the following:

  • Be among the first students to apply for housing
  • Earlier New Student Orientation (NSO) date
  • Priority in the creation and availability of your fall semester class schedule

Step 2 – Need Financial Assistance? File Your FAFSA

File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon after October 1, 2020 as possible, but no later than May 1, 2022. Be sure to file early as your FAFSA information could determine your eligibility for additional scholarships and grants. (That's free money!)

PennWest Edinboro's FAFSA code is 003321.

For Ohio residents, a portion of your Ohio College Opportunity Grant (OCOG) can be used in Pennsylvania.

The Financial Aid Office at PennWest Edinboro is dedicated to making a college education affordable and attainable for students and their families.

PennWest Edinboro understands the financial burden of pursuing a college degree. In order to help you obtain it, multiple opportunities for aid are available. Edinboro is proud to maintain its position as one of the most affordable options in the U.S. for higher education. If you have any questions, email the office at finaid-edn@pennwest.edu

If you are a Pennsylvania resident, you should also file an application for a PA State Grant. This is a separate application and needs to be filed by May 1, 2022.

Step 3 – Register for On-Campus Housing

Edinboro provides multiple housing options which allow you to make a suitable choice as you move onto campus. We offer one traditional residence hall and suite style living in The Highlands. The Office of Residence Life Housing manages Towers and the Highlands, and has knowledgeable, well-trained staff who are committed to your success.

Once you have paid your $100 advanced tuition deposit, information on how to apply for on-campus housing will be provided to you.  Learn more about housing options and how to apply.

Living –Learning Communities

The Office of Residence Life & Housing staff also maintain Living-Learning Communities, educational programs and activities, social events and community service opportunities to give students a well-rounded experience. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Residence Life & Housing at bororeslife@pennwest.edu.

Step 4 – Select Your Meal Plan

On-campus you will find several dining opportunities to fit your dining needs. Edinboro offers various meal plan options to accommodate your appetite and budget. For more information on dining offerings and meal plans please visit edinboro.campusdish.com.

Step 6 – Find Out What’s Happening on Campus

There’s no better way to meet people who share similar interests and be a part of campus life than by joining a student club or organization.

Whether you want to get involved in activities within your major outside the classroom, engage in community service, play a favorite sport, or just make new friends, PennWest Edinboro has more than 140 clubs and organizations from which to choose.
