Choosing Edinboro University is one of the best decisions you’ll ever make! While some colleges and universities discount their tuition with large “scholarship” offers, your out-of-pocket cost could still be nearly $75,000.00 higher over four years compared to a high-quality Edinboro University degree.

$120,008.00 in total student loans means you could pay back $184,712.00*** over 20 years for your 4-year education from another university!

*** Based on all out-of-pocket costs financed by a loan with an interest rate of 4.66% over a 20-year period. Data taken from the Student Loan Calculator on SmartAsset.com.

Students in high-cost, high-demand science, technology, engineering, mathematics and health (STEM-H) courses will pay a $30-per-credit fee to cover a portion of the higher cost of these programs.

The STEM-H fee will be assessed for courses based on the clinical, practicum/internship, and/or laboratory nature of STEM-H programs, which significantly increases the cost of delivering high-quality student learning experiences. A percentage of these fees will be used by academic departments to invest in enhancing the quality of these programs.

Courses for which the fee will be assessed are here.

  • Art is one of Edinboro's most expensive programs due to high technology expenses and small-sized studio classes. For classes with an ART course prefix, this fee helps cover some of these expenses and is calculated as 25% (effective 2021-2022 school year) of the tuition rate per credit.
  • The fee covers only a portion of the actual expenses and is set at a minimal level to keep the program affordable relative to other competitive art programs.
  • This fee will not be charged for Art History or Art Education courses.
MASLP Program (one-time program fee) $825-1,410
School of Education Fee (One-time program fee, undergraduate and graduate) The one-time $60 School of Education fee is for the purchase of a course management system, which is a requirement for entrance into the program. The course management system's purpose is to allow students to organize and complete online assessments, record, and submit videos of practicum work, and create a portfolio. The course management system utilized in the School of Education is Anthology Portfolio (formerly LiveText). Anthology Portfolio is also used by the School of Education to analyze student learning outcomes and meet key accreditation requirements.
School Psychology Assessment Fee (Per semester, pre-internship) $75
