The Associates of Arts degree in Liberal Studies has three distinct tracks: A, B, & C. For Track A (Specialized Field), students may complete a university approved minor comprising 15-24 semester hours of course work. For Track B (Advanced Humanities), students may complete at least one advanced course from four (4) of seven (7) disciplines in the social sciences and humanities. Tracks A and B provide the first two years towards the bachelor’s degree, while Track C (Individualized Field) requires a successful completion of twenty-one (21) semester hours of career-related courses, to be approved by the student’s advisor. Track C is designed to prepare students for the workplace.
