Sculptors explore space (and time) using traditional and contemporary materials and processes. At Edinboro the broadest range of expression is welcomed. Carving, modeling, casting, and fabrication in clay, plastics, wood, stone, cement, bronze, aluminum, steel, paper, fabric and found object - as well as time based works - are created. Four sculpture faculty offer a variety of perspectives. All emphasize the development of individual ideas and direction. Occasional visiting artists and critics offer additional feedback. Upper level and graduate students are awarded 24 hour access and graduate students are provided with private or semi-private studio space.
