          This page is a resource for students looking for admissions requirements for Edinboro's Nursing programs.

          There are additional specific requirements for students interested in the Nursing program. Each program has different requirements, which are outlined below, for admission into the respective program.           Bachelor of Science Degree - Nursing (BSN)

          1. Total SAT scores of at least 1030 or ACT score of 22.
          2. Successful completion of chemistry, biology, geometry, and algebra I and II at the high school level.
          3. Must have graduated in the top 40 percent of their high school graduating class.

          Bachelor of Science Degree - Innovative Nursing (BSN)

          1. Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution.
          2. Grade point average of 3.00 upon completion of the first baccalaureate degree, with a history of consistent academic success based on transcripts.
          3. Interview with Nursing faculty.
          4. Successful completion of the following college level courses with a minimum grade of “C”: Human Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2, statistics, principles/elements course in chemistry with a lab.
            *Please note we do not accept students who were unsuccessful in other nursing programs.

          Additionally, due to the rigor and fast-paced structure of this program, students who previously were released from another nursing program or have an academic history of multiple course "withdraw" or failures ("D's" or "F's") will not be considered for the program.

          RN-BSN Nursing Program

          1. Proof of graduation from an approved RN program.
          2. Proof of a current RN licensure.
          3. Attain a grade point average of 2.75 or greater in the pre-licensure program.
          4. A minimum grade of “C” in all biology and chemistry admissions prerequisites.
          5. Official copies of transcripts from high school and all post-secondary schools attended.
          6. The above admissions prerequisites must be completed prior to the start of the program.

          Students new to EU must complete an Admission Application noting major as Innovative Nursing Program. Apply online now. 

          Students who have previously graduated from EU must complete a Reinstatement Application Form and submit it to the Office of Records and Registration. Students will be notified in writing when their records have been evaluated and a decision rendered regarding their reinstatement.
