Total Withdrawal from the University
1st Summer Session 2012:
100% through May 21, 2012
0% after May 21, 2012
2nd Summer Session 2012:
100% through June 12, 2012
prorated % through June 15, 2012
0% after June 15, 2012
3rd Summer Session 2012:
100% through July 17, 2012
prorated % through July 20, 2012
0% after July 20, 2012
Full summer term courses, and any other special start/end date courses will follow the Total Withdrawal - Special Start/End Classes Only policy with prorated percentages published in teh University Catalog. The Health Center Fee, University Center Fee and Instructional Service Fee are non-refundable after the first meeting for each session. Students who recieve federal financial aid may be subject to aid cancellation, in whole or part, per federal regulations.
Fall/Spring:
Students can withdraw from all courses and leave the University via the SCOTS system during the first 10 weeks of the semester.
During the fall and spring terms, except for the application fee, instructional technology fee and advance deposits, students officially and totally withdrawing after the first class meeting may seek refund/account adjustment for tuition, health, university center, instructional service, and student activity fees according to the following schedule:
Spring 2012:
Attend class and drop by January 28, 2012 100%
Attend class and withdraw by Feb 3, 2012 80%
Attend class and withdraw by Feb 10, 2012 60%
Attend class and withdraw by Feb 17, 2012 50%
Attend class and withdraw by Feb 24, 2012 40%
After 5th week.....................................no refund
Students officially and totally withdrawing after the first class meeting may seek refund/account adjustment for room and meals according to the following schedule:
Attend class and drop by January 28, 2012 90%
Attend class and withdraw by Feb 3, 2012 80%
Attend class and withdraw by Feb 10, 2012 60%
Attend class and withdraw by Feb 17, 2012 50%
Attend class and withdraw by Feb 24, 2012 40%
After 5th week.....................................no refund
**Please note: Students who reduce their credit hour load after January 29, 2012, so as to qualify for billing as part-time students, shall not be eligible for a refund or account adjustment of amounts which exceed the part-time rate. After the drop period, refunds for tuition and fees shall be made only for full semester withdrawal.
Fall 2011:
Attend class and drop by September 3, 2011 100%
Attend class and withdraw by Sept 9, 2011 80%
Attend class and withdraw by Sept 16, 2011 60%
Attend class and withdraw by Sept 23, 2011 50%
Attend class and withdraw by Sept 30, 2011 40%
