Institutional Compliance
As a public institution of higher education, EUP expects its faculty, staff and students to comply with governing laws, regulations and policies. One of GSP's responsibilities is compliance. This office ensures that all research and other academic activities, regardless of its funding status or source, are compliant with federal and state laws and regulations, as well as compliant with EUP applicable policies and procedures.
GSP is the liaison between researchers and EUP's boards and faculty committees. These committees were established in accordance with federal requirements, which mandate that only these entities may make determinations on research projects involving human and vertebrate animal subjects, and biosafety materials.
