The Office of Student Judicial Affairs provides support for the educational goals of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and Edinboro University. By providing opportunities to develop skills to eliminate harmful behaviors, the University judicial system assists students in becoming contributing members of the University community and helps to ensure a safe and productive living and learning community for all.
The goals of the Office of Student Judicial Affairs are accomplished through the implementation of a system of fair and efficient due process. Through educational sanctioning, the student judicial system encourages students to assess their attitudes and behaviors as they relate to respect self and others. The Office of Student Judicial Affairs provides relevant outlets for personal growth and development, as well as support for the practice of positive behaviors.
Violations of University policy are heard by the Committee of Fact, the Residence Hall Judicial Board, and University Hearing Officer. To obtain an application for membership to serve on one of the hearing boards, or to learn more about the Committee of Fact or the Residence Hall Judicial Board, please see the Student Judicial Affairs website and/or contact the Office of Student Judicial Affairs for the application.
