Pipe Band

The Edinboro University Pipe Band is a student and community based organization committed to the promotion and development of the Scottish Arts through the medium of the Pipe Band. The ensemble is open to both students and interested persons in the community.

The Edinboro University Pipe Band was formed in 1992.  Mr. Bruce Best (then piping instructor) and Dr. Tim Cordell (then marching band director) were instrumental in its formation.  A few enthusiastic students made up this first group and began a tradition that remains to this day.
