The Edinboro University String Ensemble is an ensemble made up of college students, community members, professional musicians, and high school students. Members of the University Community are welcome.
Academic credit is available for both majors and non-majors. The String Ensemble performs one concert on campus each semester.
Student soloists are featured each year. The String Ensemble performs standard repertoire and musicians are exposed to a wide range of musical styles, from the Baroque era through Handel, Mozart, Bartok, and popular standards.
