At Edinboro University, we highly value our students.  As such, the Residence Life & Housing office provides a comprehensive program designed to holistically develop resident students. Your academic department’s priority is to prepare you to succeed as a member of the professional community of your choice. Our priority is to prepare you to succeed as a member of the diverse global community.

We provide on-campus residence halls, and require freshmen to reside within them, because we value the experiences that we are able to make available for students outside of the classroom, believing they enhance their overall educational experience. As residence hall staff, we strive to ensure that all of our interactions and efforts are directed toward promoting the success and retention of our students. We actively seek new ways to engage students, assisting them in making responsible decisions, and exposing them to diverse opportunities—all of which will assist them in becoming more responsible and contributive members of the global community. That means we’re in the business of student development, which involves intentionally enhancing our students’ intellectual, physical, emotional and spiritual selves.
