- SCOTS Account Information
SCOTS Account - The Student Centered Online Transaction System (SCOTS) allows students to prepare or make changes to their schedule, display their detailed schedule, view their academic transcript and grades, track their progress toward their degree, review their financial aid requirements and awards and more. SCOTS accounts require a "User ID" and a "PIN". SCOTS User IDs are the same as a Student ID and are printed on the Student ID cards. These begin with the '@' sign and are followed by 8 numbers (for example @12345678). SCOTS PINs are 6 digits and are initially set to the student's date of birth in MMDDYY format. For example if a student was born on April 23, 1991 then that student's SCOTS PIN would initially be set to 042391. For additional information about and how to access your SCOTS account go to http://www.edinboro.edu/dotAsset/99724.pdf.
Changing Your SCOTS Pin - If you do not remember your PIN or if you want to change your PIN you must go to the SCOTS Login page and enter your User ID and then click on the "Forgot PIN" button. This will prompt you to answer the secret question you created when you initially activated your SCOTS account and then allow you to reset your PIN. If you forgot the answer to your secret question please contact the Records and Registration office at 814-732-5555 and enter in one of the following extensions (472, 474 or 475) for assistance.
