          Getting Started

          Below, find all of the necessary information new faculty members will need to get started on campus.

          For your convenience, multiple campus resources are outlined on this page as you begin your time at Edinboro University. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Office of Human Resources and Faculty Relations.

          Campus Parking Permits

          The University Police Department is located at 911 Scotland Road (at the corner of Route 6N and Scotland Road) in Edinboro.

          Identification cards can be obtained at the Access Office on the 2nd floor of the Pogue Student Center Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. University policy requires that all students, faculty and staff carry their Edinboro University ID cards at all times while on campus. The card is required for checking out books at the Baron-Forness Library, door access to many campus buildings, parking passes and entry into University athletic games and cultural events. The ID cards are valid as long as the holder is associated with the University and is in good standing.

If you need assistance with technology, don’t hesitate to request support or review the knowledgebase with the 24-hour online helpdesk system. Access the site by selecting the "TECH HELP" icon after logging into myEdinboro or call the Technology Help Center at (814) 732-2111.           Using Library Resources and Services

          Baron-Forness Library supports the curricular and research needs of the University and surrounding communities. Librarians are available in-person as well as via phone, chat and email to assist you and your students with every step of the research process. Math tutoring,  the Writing Center and Academic Success Center are also conveniently housed in the library to further assist you. Two computer labs provide access to a variety of productivity and classroom software while two group-tech rooms allow students to work on projects collaboratively using technology. The library provides off-site access to more than 125 electronic information resources and services. Can’t find something you want? Additional services such as InterLibrary Loan (ILL) and EZBorrow enable the library to acquire books and articles for you from other libraries.

          Ordering Textbooks

          Go to the bookstore website at  Under “faculty” click “faculty instructions” for a step-by-step guide to ordering your textbooks via the online system.

          Ordering Instructions

          If you are using the bookstore site for the first time, you must register first. Under “faculty” click “faculty adoptions.” You will need your department ID and password to create an account.

          Login and Registration

          The timeline for turning in your textbook requests for the fall semester should be prior to April 15 and for the spring semester, November 15. If you have any problems or questions regarding this process contact Karen Gregory at (814) 732-2349 or
