In October 2014, Campus Safety Magazine highlighted EU for "Going Above and Beyond ADA Compliance."

Edinboro University’s Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) exists to promote confidence and independent functioning of all students and to educate and increase understanding of students with disabilities in the college community. Upon request, the Office provides many services and accommodations for students with disabilities. These services include:

            • Meal/Homework Aides
            • Occupational Therapy
            • Van Transportation
            • Writing Specialist

Any student requiring an accommodation must request such services directly from OSD. All accommodation requests must be consistent with documented needs of the student requesting such accommodations. Requests for accommodation may not be honored without documentation of a disability as defined by the parameters of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and any subsequent amendments.
