LEAN Champion Certification

If you have ever heard the phrase "I don't know, that is just the way we have always done it," then you have most likely experienced a process that is working less than effectively. Perhaps at some point, your organization implemented a process for good reason, but after time it was no longer necessary... but was never eliminated! Or, perhaps under the pressure of time, an ad-hoc process was implemented and never improved for the long term. There are many reasons that processes become ineffective or inefficient. The challenge lies in the analysis and change involved in developing effective, valuable and efficient processes through your organization and creating a culture that is focused on continual process improvement. This class will bring to you a systematic approach to identifying and eliminating non-value-added activities through the use of lean tools, in-depth analysis, and continuous improvement solutions.
