The Campus Media Center, located in Compton Hall, provides students with experience
in radio and television broadcasting, media production, journalism, publishing and
advertising. The Media Center serves as a central hub for all three student-managed
PennWest Edinboro media outlets.
ETV, the campus television station, provides opportunities for students to gain practical experience in television production and newscasting through the production of programs, including a weekly television news show. The station provides the campus and community with coverage of local and campus news, campus events, sports and more. It also maintains an online presence, offering viewing and the purchase of archived programs.
Dr. Ron Raymond, the faculty advisor for ETV, can be contacted at rraymond@pennwest.edu.
WFSE-FM (88.9 FM), also called Fighting Scots Radio, is a 3,000-watt non-commercial

(FCC). It primarily plays rock, alternative and Top 40 songs, though it also features
programming from AP Radio. The station is staffed, programmed, and managed by students
under the supervision of Dr. Ron Raymond, faculty advisor. He can be contacted at rraymond@pennwest.edu.
