Welcome to Counseling and Psychological Services

Sometimes life can throw you for a loop, which leads to stress and can affect the way you function, your academic performance, and your social relationships. It's important to recognize when you have a problem. This is the first step in resolving it. The second is getting help.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides a range of services on a short-term basis to currently enrolled students who have paid the Health Center fee. In addition, CAPS provides consultation and referral services for students, faculty, staff and campus professionals.

We treat each individual with sensitivity, providing affirmative therapy that values diversity and respect.

Our professional staff of licensed mental health professionals and psychologists provides individual and group counseling for students and referral services for those requiring specialized or longer-term care.

Hours of Operation:

Our hours are from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday during the fall and spring semesters when classes are scheduled to meet. Students may request additional times for appointments. Appointments can be made by phone.
