Biography

Molly Wolf is an Associate Professor and Chair in the Social Work Department at PennWest Edinboro. Dr. Wolf’s areas of expertise are in child sexual abuse, memory, perpetration of child sexual abuse, trauma, and trauma-informed care. As a licensed social worker, she facilitated parenting groups with at-risk parents, supervised visits with families, and facilitated Seeking Safety groups with female trauma survivors.

She has dedicated her life to helping survivors through her research, teaching, and social work. Dr. Wolf’s research has been published in presented nationally and internationally. Her groundbreaking research concerning the effects of grooming during child sexual abuse on trauma symptoms of adult survivors has made her an international expert on this matter, as vetted by the Canadian government for the purpose of being an expert witness for the Crown Prosecution.
