The Division of Academic Affairs at PennWest Edinboro is responsible for the development, delivery and assessment of all University instructional programs.
The mission of the Division of Academic Affairs at PennWest Edinboro is to ensure the quality, value and relevance of all academic programs and related academic support services to promote student success. The Division further supports the professional development of the faculty to ensure a cadre of professionals committed to excellence.
The Division provides undergraduate degree programming through the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, the College of Science and Health Professions, the School of Business and the School of Education. In addition, graduate programs are supported through the School of Graduate Studies. The largest academic library in the region, Baron-Forness Library, provides information and services to members of the University community as well as the residents of Northwest Pennsylvania.
The Office of the Provost also oversees the Honors College, Academic Success Center, Office of Records and Registration, Center for Career Development and Experiential Learning, and Center for Faculty Excellence.
